A little surprise coming this November!  We normally run a pretty tight ship around here, so unexpected pairings aren’t something we typically encounter. But let’s just say Siggy managed to get out when he wasn’t supposed to, and a few weeks later we noticed Marm was looking a little wider than usual.

Since we didn’t witness the breeding, we aren’t entirely sure when these little ones will arrive, but we’re estimating sometime around mid-November! Marm’s belly has stayed pretty small, so we decided to do an X-ray to see what was going on, and sure enough, she’s carrying three little babies!

While this wasn’t a pairing we had planned for right now, we’re still excited to see these kittens. Marm has amazing hips, and Siggy has also passed his hip evaluations. Siggy is scheduled for his first echocardiogram on November 10th, and Marm will be having her second cardiac scan soon as well. Both have such lovely temperaments, so we’re expecting some incredibly sweet babies from these two. Siggy is poly so possibly some extra toes in this litter 🙂
